Della Fattoria can speak for itself but I really like talking so here goes:

Referring back to my post about Cafe Zazzle, I know that I said that Della is not the #1 restaurant in Petaluma in my eyes. I did not in any way mean that it’s not absolutely delicious and unworthy of praise. Listen here: I appreciate you, Della. No, I love you (not as much as Whole Foods burritos though, always my #1 boo).

I looked up what “Della Fattoria” means which most hardcore fans have probably already done—maybe I’m behind the trend—and it translates from Italian to “of the farm”. I know some people hate not saying the full name because it can sound pretentious and dopey—if so, guilty! I guess that the haters of me saying just "Della" and not the entire name do have a pretty strong point, but saying, “Let’s go to Fattoria for brunch!” doesn’t really roll off the tongue as smoothly. Della reflects the beauty of the restaurant! The interior is like a grownup version of a magical fairy garden. It's incredibly charming.

The restaurant itself is a chaotically-beautifully yet flawlessly-orchestrated environment, with a balance of traditional, authentic Petaluma (howdy, former egg capital of the world) mixed with modern elegance and sophistication. Is it a metaphor for Petaluma itself? We’re not getting that deep in this post. It's just a blog. During the holidays they hang a decorated Christmas tree upside down from the high ceiling. Why is that so interesting to me? I couldn't say.

My mom and I went early Sunday morning for Easter Brunch and I of course started off the meal with an enormous Honey Lavender Latte. I’m not a huge coffee drinker because it makes me bounce off the walls and trip over my words even more than I already do without any outside help, but this latte is an essential part of any breakfast or brunch. It’s right up there with the Lavender Pink Lemonade. I’m a lover of anything floral scented or flavored so it's right up my alley!

My friend, Olivia, and I have been to Della [Fattoria] many times together and always try to plan on going somewhere other than Della to eat, but guess where we always end up? Yeah. Tragic. We can’t seem to change our ways and why would we when the restaurant is not only fantastic on all levels (food, staff, service, and environment), but gorgeous inside as well?! Olivia calls the restaurant, “unique and eccentric” with a “wonderful ambiance”. I second that along with hundreds of other screaming fans.

The Avocado Toast is Olivia’s favorite (unfriend me if you don’t like avocados) but she especially appreciates one of the breads you can either order while in the restaurant itself, or next door at the convenient grab-and-go bakery and coffee shop. “I love their fresh baked Lemon Rosemary Bread with the homemade Lemonade!” In my opinion (since this blog is all about my super interesting opinions), no other bakery in the area compares Della's, at least not to my knowledge, and I’ve never tried something there that I haven’t enjoyed.

Olivia said she’ll never stop loving Della Fattoria and neither will I!

I know that people go nuts over the many versions of “Eggs Bennie” that Della Fattoria has on their menu, but that’s not really my jam. If you’re a cult follower of Eggs Benedict, first of all, I’m nervous, and second of all, go try it at Della, because I’ve heard many people rave about it. To each their own, I suppose.

In conclusion, hats off. Della Fattoria is an outstanding and heavenly restaurant that is ideal for catching up with those visiting town and best for those long and lazy Sunday mornings. Nowhere can even dare to compare to the magic and charm that it creates, and the food is next level.

Della is an absolute dream and I'm sure I'll somehow find myself there again all too soon!
